HOODED EYES MAKEUP TUTORIAL: Tips & Techniques For Clients

Hey guys! Please welcome one of my good friends Journey to the channel 🙂 She and I have known each other since we were babies and she’s getting married next September which I’m SO excited about!

For this tutorial, I wanted to share some helpful tips and techniques on doing makeup on hooded/monolid eyes. It can be VERY challenging especially for those that don’t have any experience with it. The main issue with hooded eyes is that there is little to no “crease” in the eyes so knowing where to place shadow is very tricky! As a person of Asian decent myself, I can tell you that it was EXTREMELY hard to figure out how to do my own makeup growing up (which is probably why I got a later start). To help with this, I’ve created a fairly universal look in this video that will flatter hooded eyes the best. Let me know what you guys think!
